SPECIAL NOTICE

MAMA JINNY CORONAVIRUS POLICY: CUSTOMERS

Mama Jinny is looking forward to welcoming you back. We have been missing you!
We have been working hard to ensure that we re-open with all of the hygiene, social distancing measures and government advice in place to ensure you feel confident returning to dining in our restaurant – we want you to fall in love with dining out all over again!

OUR STAFF
We emphasise that we have an extensive policy in place for all staff members to ensure that they are safe and that they follow all necessary health & safety and hygiene procedures to minimise risk of infection.
We have your health and wellbeing at the forefront of our operation.

THE EXPERIENCE
You will find aspects of your experience has had to change in order to accommodate all of the safety measures needed as we emerge out of lockdown.
But you will find the warm welcome, the familiar faces, and the quality food remain exactly the same.
This paper takes you through the changes we have had to implement for the first stage of re-opening and they will remain in force for as long as necessary.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
• Any customer entering Mama Jinny, and any family with whom you live, must be symptom free.
The main symptoms of coronavirus are:
a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
• You will need to make a reservation with Mama Jinny. We are unable to accept walk-ins from the public.
Evening sitting times are:
5:00 - 7:00pm, 7:00 - 9:00pm and 9:00 - 11:00pm
These timings are due to restricted seating capacity imposed by social distancing rules.

ARRIVAL
We ask that you arrive at the time of your reservation and not to arrive early or late wherever possible.
There will be hand sanitiser available that we encourage all to use on arrival.
Please stand 1 metre away from the reception desk. A member of staff will show you to your table, however, is advised not to hold out the chair for you.
All greetings from our staff will be verbal or a wave – we are afraid we will not be able to give you our customary handshake or hug.
We will ask you to take any coat you are wearing to your table.

SOCIAL DISTANCING –
What do we mean by social distancing?
The restaurant tables are laid out so that, when seated, each table is a minimum of 1 metre away from the next table.
We will keep to the 1 metre rule at all times that are completely practical.
However, in order to serve our customers, we will have to recognise that 1 metre is not always possible, ie pouring wine, bringing dishes.
In such cases, staff will not stay near the table for longer than strictly necessary.

AT YOUR TABLE –
There will be hand sanitiser on each table. Menus will be on the table ready. All napkins are now disposable

TOILETS –
Please only use the toilet when you can see it is vacant. Please do not stand whilst waiting.

TAKING PAYMENT –
You will pay via credit card machine which will be wiped down between uses with an antibacteria wipe and there is hand sanitiser on each table.
